Why are the herbs in Connectin® important?

The specially formulated herbal base allows the Glucosamine HCl and Mucopolysaccharides to be absorbed at the affected site, quickly.

How do I know if my pet can benefit from using Connectin®?

Joint disorder is the #1 chronic ailment affecting dogs today. One out of every four dogs will develop joint problems in their lives. Joint health is also a major health concern for cats and horses.

SEVEN COMMON SIGNS OF JOINT DISORDER

  1. Difficulty getting up or down stairs.
  2. Can no longer finish a walk.
  3. Unable to jump into the car or up on the bed.
  4. Hesitance getting up after sitting or lying down.
  5. Decreased endurance.
  6. Stiff after activities.
  7. Stumbles or "bunny hops" while walking.

Your vet can tell you for sure if your pet has a joint problem.

If my pet's food lists Glucosamine and Chondroitin Sulfate as ingredients, do I still need to supplement with Connectin®?

Typically the amounts of these ingredients in pet foods falls below the amounts required to be effective, especially on animals with severe symptoms. Pet food companies normally report the amount of glucosamine and chondroitin combined in units of ppm or parts per million. Given suggested feeding amounts, 400ppm is only 89.2 mg for a 40-60 pound dog.

How long should I give Connectin®?

Following the directions for daily use, you will see results with Connectin® within 2 weeks (dogs & cats) and 3-4 weeks (horses). You will continue to see improvement for 2-4 months. After the positive results have been maintained for several weeks, you may be able to decrease the daily amount by half the recommended amount. Continue with this maintenance level. Symptoms may return if you discontinue use of Connectin®.

How long will one container of Connectin® last?

The recommended daily level is on the outside of each container.

40-60 pound dog:
12oz granular - 27 days initial use; 54 day maintenance use
23oz granular - 51 days initial use; 102 day maintenance use
50ct chew tabs - 25 days initial use; 50 day maintenance use
150ct chew tabs - 75 days initial use; 150 day maintenance use

Cat 10 pounds or less:
60ct chew tabs - 60 days initial use; 120 day maintenance use

Horse under 1,200 pounds:
20oz granular - 27.5 day initial use; 55 day maintenance use

Can Connectin® be given to help maintain joint health in a pet without symptoms?

We hear this question often. After a pet owner has seen great results when using Connectin® with their affected animal, they wonder whether it would be wise to start their younger pet on Connectin® to help maintain his or her healthy joints. Yes, we believe that starting your non-affected pet on a maintenance level of Connectin® will help the body maintain healthy joint function.
